Warranty

24-month warranty

All goods bought at Spigen.cz come with a warranty of 24 months from the date you receive them. We are the authorised Spigen reseller for the Czech Republic, so we handle warranties and claims ourselves — nothing is forwarded to the manufacturer and there is no waiting for a service centre abroad.

What the warranty covers

  • manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship — cracks without a drop, layers coming unstuck, faulty MagFit magnets, broken clips and kickstands
  • defects that appear during the normal use the product is intended for
  • missing or damaged parts of the packaging on delivery (report within 24 hours of receipt)

What the warranty does not cover

  • normal wear and tear from use — worn corners, a matt surface going smooth, minor scratches on the case
  • mechanical damage from a drop or an impact; a case is there to protect the phone and may crack itself in a hard impact — that is its job
  • tempered glass cracked by an impact or a drop — the glass sacrifices itself instead of the display, and a replacement comes from the twin pack, not from the warranty
  • yellowing of clear cases caused by UV light over time (additives in the material slow it down, they do not stop it)
  • damage caused by chemicals, dyes from clothing, heat or improper modification

How to make a warranty claim

  1. Write to info@spigen.cz: your order number, a description of the defect and one or two photos. We can assess most cases from the photos, so you do not have to send anything in.
  2. If we do need to see the goods, send them to Ingredi Europa s.r.o., Tř. Tomáše Bati 5331, 760 01 Zlín. Enclose proof of purchase (the order number is enough) and tell us how you would like the claim resolved — repair, replacement or refund.
  3. We settle claims within 30 days at the latest, usually much sooner. We will let you know the outcome by e-mail and reimburse approved postage costs.

The full procedure for both returns and claims is set out under Returns and complaints; the legal framework is in the terms and conditions.
